What led you to pursue a career in your current role, and how did you get started in the field?

I was always good with numbers and enjoyed the idea of working in the finance sector, so I was directed to consider accounting. I started out with Accounting and Finance at University and upon completion of my degree I applied for my first role in accounting at Wisteria.

What do you enjoy most about your job, and what do you find most challenging?

I enjoy working with businesses, seeing the ins and outs, understanding the use of capital and where it can influence/grow a company. I find the learning of new concepts to be difficult at times but that’s also the most interesting part, it allows me to reach new heights in my career.

What do you believe are the most important qualities for success in your current role, and how do you strive to embody those qualities in your work?

I believe that in my role, things are ever-changing, new challenges to take on, urgent work coming in, and having to balance everything. Keeping on top of everything is definitely a significant quality, there are many clients, with many different circumstances. Adaptation is very important and as each day goes by, I get better at it, I embody these by taking each day as it comes and growing as a worker, learning through everything challenge I face.
