What led you to pursue a career in your current role, and how did you get started in the field?

My father inspired me to pursue a career in accountancy. I qualified in 2005 whilst working with a local firm of accountants. Being a mother of two young children, I joined Wisteria as a management accountant on a part time basis.

What do you enjoy most about your job, and what do you find most challenging?

I enjoy working closely with the directors and being responsible for the firm's accounts. My role requires me to keep up to date with our internal accounts which was challenging due to the volume of work. Over time I have managed to cope with this with the help of the directors.

What do you believe are the most important qualities for success in your current role, and how do you strive to embody those qualities in your work?

I believe communication, dedication, and willingness to learn are the most important qualities for success in my role. My strong sense of commitment helps me achieve these qualities in my work.
