Justin joined Wisteria as a Tax Graduate Associate in July 2023 and works in the Tax Department at Wisteria, assisting with all day-to-day tax compliance work, Corporation Tax, Self-Assessment and Payroll. He plans to study towards obtaining the CTA qualification.
Justin is a graduate who studied Financial and Business Economics and his hobbies include swimming, running, hiking, investing and nice food and chats.
What led you to pursue a career in your current role, and how did you get started in the field?
My current role is as the Graduate Tax Associate. My journey into the tax field was driven by my passion for problem-solving, interest in tax policy and desire to make a meaningful impact on people's lives.
What do you enjoy most about your job, and what do you find most challenging?
I enjoy the continuous learning and intellectual challenges that come with the constantly changing Tax landscape. Being a Tax Associate allows me to work closely with a diverse range of clients and help others shape their future, business and finance.
What do you believe are the most important qualities for success in your current role, and how do you strive to embody those qualities in your work?
Organisational, communication and adaptability skills would be some of the key qualities I believe will aid in the success of my role. Being a fresh graduate, you are encouraged to ask lots of questions; having a timetable, a to-do list, and a willingness to learn-attitude will also help aid in the success of this role.
