Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Each public limited company and every private limited company must hold an AGM at least once a year, not more than 15 months apart from each other. Companies that seek a resolution from its shareholders may be exempt from holding such meetings. 21 days notice must be given to shareholders.

Extraodinary General Meeting (EGM)
All company meetings that are not AGM's are EGM. 21 days notice must be given to shareholders.

Waiver of notice
As long as all members entitled to vote at a company meeting agree an AGM or EGM can be held at with shorter notice.
